Then Joshua assembled all the tribes of Israel at Shechem. He summoned the elders, leaders, judges, and officers of Israel, and they presented themselves before God.

1Na Yosua frɛɛ Israelfoɔ nyinaa, wɔn mpanimfoɔ, ntuanofoɔ, atemmufoɔ ne adwumayɛfoɔ kɔɔ Sekem. Na wɔn nyinaa baa Onyankopɔn anim. 2Yosua ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Sɛdeɛ Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn seɛ nie: Mo tete agyanom, Tera a ɔyɛ Abraham agya ne Nahor tenaa Asubɔnten Eufrate agya nohoa na wɔsomm anyame foforɔ. 3Nanso, mefaa mo agya Abraham firii asase a ɛda Eufrate agya hɔ de no baa Kanaan asase so.
