and you are to proclaim to them that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: I will shatter this nation and this city, like one shatters a potter’s jar that can never again be repaired. They will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room to bury them.

9Mɛma wɔawe wɔn mmammarima ne wɔn mmammaa nam, na wɔbɛfiri ahohia a atamfoɔ a wɔrepɛ wɔn nkwa no tua de bɛba wɔn so no mu awe wɔn ho wɔn ho nam.’ 10“Afei, bɔ kuruwa no wɔ wɔn a wɔka wo ho no anim ma wɔnhwɛ, 11na ka kyerɛ wɔn sɛ, ‘Yei ne deɛ Asafo Awurade seɛ: Mɛbɔ saa ɔman yi ne kuropɔn yi sɛdeɛ wɔabɔ ɔnwomfoɔ kuruwa yi a wɔrentumi nsiesie bio. Wɔbɛsie awufoɔ wɔ Tofet kɔsi sɛ, ɛhɔ bɛyɛ ma. 12Sei ara na mɛyɛ saa beaeɛ yi ne wɔn a wɔtete so, Awurade na ɔseɛ. Mɛyɛ kuropɔn yi sɛ Tofet. 13Afie a ɛwɔ Yerusalem ne Yuda ahemfo ahemfie ho bɛgu fi te sɛ Tofet ha. Afie a, wɔhyee nnuhwam wɔ adan atifi maa ɔsoro asafo nyinaa na wɔguu nsã maa anyame foforɔ.’ ”
