Then the angel * of the LORD came and sat down under the oak * in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to hide it from the Midianites.

9Meyii mo firii Misraim tumi ne wɔn a wɔhyɛ mo so nyinaa ase. Mepamoo mo atamfoɔ de wɔn asase maa mo. 10Meka kyerɛɛ mo sɛ, ‘Mene Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn. Monnsom Amorifoɔ a mote wɔn asase so no anyame.’ Nanso moantie me.” 11Na Awurade ɔbɔfoɔ bɛtenaa odupɔn a ɛsi Ofra a ɛyɛ Yoas a ɔfiri Abieser abusua mu dea no ase.
