For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its flower falls and its beauty is lost. So too, the rich man will fade away in the midst of his pursuits.

Ɛfiri sɛ, adefoɔ no twam kɔ sɛ wiram afifideɛ bi. 11Owia pue de ne hyeɛ no hye afifideɛ no ma nʼahoɔfɛ no sɛe. Saa ara na wɔbɛsɛe adefoɔ no ɛberɛ a wɔgu so redi wɔn nnwuma no. 12Nhyira nka onipa a ɔnya gyidie wɔ amanehunu mu, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔno na ɔbɛnya akyɛdeɛ a Onyankopɔn ahyɛ ho bɔ ama wɔn a wɔdɔ no no. 13Sɛ wɔsɔ obi hwɛ a, ɛnsɛ sɛ ɔka sɛ, “Saa sɔhwɛ yi firi Onyankopɔn.” Ɛfiri sɛ, bɔne rentumi nsɔ Onyankopɔn nhwɛ, na ɔno Onyankopɔn nso nsɔ obi nhwɛ.
