Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the gate of the house of the LORD that faces east. And there at the entrance of the gate were twenty-five men. Among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, who were leaders of the people.

1Afei, honhom no pagyaa me de me baa Awurade efie ɛpono a ani kyerɛ apueeɛ fam no ano. Na mmarima aduonu enum wɔ hɔ, na mehunuu Asur babarima Yaasania ne Benaia babarima Pelatia a wɔyɛ nnipa no ntuanofoɔ. 2Awurade ka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Onipa ba, yeinom ne mmarima a wɔrebɔ pɔ bɔne na wɔtu fo bɔne wɔ kuropɔn yi mu. 3Wɔka sɛ, ‘Ɛberɛ a wɔde sisi afie nnuru so anaa? Kuropɔn no ayɛ sɛ dadesɛn, ɛnna yɛayɛ ɛnam a dadesɛn no bɔ yɛn ho ban.’
