Now David summoned all the leaders of Israel to Jerusalem: the leaders of the tribes, the leaders of the divisions in the king’s service, the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and the officials in charge of all the property and cattle of the king and his sons, along with the court officials and mighty men—every mighty man of valor.

Saa mpanimfoɔ no ne mmusuakuo no ntuanofoɔ, asahene a wɔdeda akodɔm akuo dumienu no ano, asraafoɔ mpanimfoɔ a wɔaka no, wɔn a wɔhwɛ ɔhene agyapadeɛ ne ne mmoa so, ahemfie nhenkwaa, akofoɔ akɛseɛ ne akofoɔ a wɔaka wɔ ahennie no mu no. 2Dawid sɔre gyinaa wɔn anim, kasa kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Me nuanom ne me nkurɔfoɔ, anka mepɛɛ sɛ mɛsi asɔredan a wɔde Awurade Apam Adaka, Onyankopɔn nan ntiasoɔ no bɛsi afebɔɔ. Meyɛɛ ho ahoboa nyinaa sɛ mede rebɛsi, 3nanso Onyankopɔn ka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, ‘Ɛnsɛ sɛ wosi asɔredan de hyɛ me din animuonyam, ɛfiri sɛ, woyɛ ɔkofoɔ a woahwie mogya bebree aguo.’
