But because Moses gave you circumcision, you circumcise a boy on the Sabbath (not that it is from Moses, but from the patriarchs.)

20Igwe mmadụ ahụ zara, “Mmụọ ọjọọ bi nʼime gị, onye chọrọ igbu gị?” 21Jisọs zara sị ha, “Arụrụ m otu ọrụ, ma unu niile nọ na mgbagwoju anya. 22Mosis nyere unu iwu ibi ugwu (nʼagbanyeghị na o siteghị na Mosis, kama na nna nna anyị ha), nʼụbọchị izuike unu na-ebikwa mmadụ ugwu. 23Ọ bụrụ na e nwere ike bie mmadụ ugwu nʼụbọchị izuike ka a ghara imebi iwu Mosis, gịnị mere o ji na-ewute unu na m mere ka ahụ mmadụ zuo oke nʼụbọchị izuike? 24Kwụsịnụ ikpe ikpe site nʼihe anya na-ahụ, kama na-ekpenụ ikpe ziri ezi.”
