This is what the Lord GOD says: Because the enemy has said of you, ‘Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession,’

1“Nwa nke mmadụ, buo amụma nye ugwu niile dị nʼIzrel, na-asị ha, ‘Ugwu niile nke Izrel, nụrụnụ okwu nke Onyenwe anyị. 2Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Ndị iro unu ekwuola megide unu sị, “Ahaa! Ebe niile dị elu nke mgbe ochie aghọọla ihe nnweta anyị.” ’ 3Nʼihi ya, buo amụma sị, ‘Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Nʼihi na ha emeela ka unu tọgbọrọ nʼefu, chụgharịa unu ọsọ nʼakụkụ niile, mekwaa ka unu ghọọrọ mba niile ihe nnweta, ma meekwa ka unu bụrụ ndị a na-ekwujọ, na ndị a na-akọcha, 4nʼihi ya, unu ugwu niile nke Izrel, nụrụnụ okwu Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị.
