Nehemiah was a cupbearer to the king of Persia. When he heard about what happened to Jerusalem and its walls that had broken down, he cried and prayed to God for help. 🙇🏽 Because of this, Nehemiah asked permission from the king to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the walls. Nehemiah faced opposition and discouragement while rebuilding the walls, but he encouraged the people to focus on God, trust Him, and keep on working. 💪🏽 After 52 days, the rebuilding of the walls was finally finished! 🙌🏽
